Beatrice Church

Beatrice Church, age 88 of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on Friday, December 19, 2008. She was born in Hamilton on July 5, 1920 the daughter of James and Mable (Garrett) Andrews. Beatrice was employed at Remer Surgical Supply for 24 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of the Maranatha Church of God. In 1937 in Liberty, Indiana she married Forrest Church and he preceded her in death in 1953.

She is survived by her grandson, Kristian Fields and five siblings, Lelia Funderburk, Clyde Andrews, Teenie (Robert) Smith, Adrian (Nancy) Andrews, and Norman (Carol) Andrews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Ann Fields and siblings, James G. Andrews, Clifford Andrews, and Juanita Alexander.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, December 26, 2008 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
