Beaulah Amis

Beaulah Amis, age 85 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Monday, April 26, 2010 at 7:17 PM. She was born in Clay County, Kentucky on March 20, 1925 the daughter of John and Myrtle (Webb) Stewart. Beaulah was a wonderful wife and mother, who always remembered her kids’ and grandkids’ special days. On July 16, 1947 in Covington, Kentucky she married John Napier Jr., and he preceded her in death in 1999; on August 11, 2001 in Hamilton she married Alvin Amis.

She is survived by her husband, Alvin Amis of Hamilton; two sons, John "Dave" (Vonda) Napier of Hamilton and Herman (Connie) Amis of Clarksville, Ohio; three daughters, Brenda Joyce Fagaly of California, Barbara Jean (Jim) Rice of San Antonio, Texas, and Phyllis (James) Brick of Cincinnati; seven grandchildren, Christy, Angela, Justin, Adam, Sarah, Cari, and Joshua; four great-grandchildren and one on the way; three brothers, John C. (Nickola) Stewart, James Stewart, both of Hamilton, and Roy (Princess) Stewart of Georgetown, Ohio; and a sister, Stella (Hunter) Hyde of Fairfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Richmond and Jarmon Stewart; and a sister, Bessie Barger.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Rick Witt of Faith Pentecostal Church of Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
