Benjamin Peter Flick

Benjamin Peter Flick, age 19 of Hamilton, passed away at on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11:15PM. He was born in Florence, South Carolina on September 4, 1994 to Rick and Theresa (Biondo) Flick. Ben was a student athlete at the University of Cincinnati, he loved playing his guitar and fishing; and loved hanging out with his friends. He was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, where he attended with his "Nanna". Ben was particullary proud of his Country, and his southern birth. He will be remembered for his achievements on and off the football field, specifically his academic standing, and unique sense of humor. His most proud achievement was earning a scholarship to play football at the University of Cincinnati.

He is survived by his father, Rick and Cathy Flick, of Hamilton; his grandmother, Patti Froelke also of Hamilton; his sisters, Samatha Burton, Kellie Burton, and Emily Burton; aunts and uncles, Mike and Becky Flick, Cindy and Bill Bodner, Jerry and Joan Flick, Judy Flick-Fritz, Mary Ann and Jeff Estridge, Rita and Randy Keeling, John and Tanya Biondo, Rich and Marla Biondo, Kathy and Rob Middendorf, as well as, Judy and Jacob Krause, and Bill and Debbie Zettler; cousins, Jennie, Greg, Tim, Amanda, Michael, Katie, Chris, Andy, Matthew, Julie, Nicholas, Patrick, Jack, Phillip, Mia, Jacob, Abagail, Joey, and Patrick; and his beloved dogs, Mookie, and Eddie. He was preceded in death by his mother Theresa Flick; grandparents, Bill and Lois Flick, Pete Froelke.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave, on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 10AM with Fr. James Wedig of Queen of Peace Catholic Church officiating. Burial will take place at St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 from 5-9PM at Hamilton High School Gymnasium.
