Benjamin Goodpaster

Benjamin Kevin Goodpaster, age 28 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2014. He was born in Cincinnati on January 11, 1986 to Bill and Patti (Harmon) Goodpaster. Benjamin was employed at Bass Pro Shop. He was a member of University of Cincinnati Police Academy, and served 4 years in the Marine Corps as a Corporal. Ben will be remembered for his love of his family, the outdoors, and gaming.

He is survived by his wife; Stephanie B. Goodpaster (nee Morgan) Hamilton, OH, his son; Lucas Goodpaster, his mother; Patti Goodpaster, his sister; Jennifer Goodpaster, his mother and father-in-law; Mike and Vickie Morgan, his brother-in-law; Matt Morgan, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, and beloved pets; Lola, Jax and Maui. He was preceded in death by his father; Bill Goodpaster.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 12 PM with Larry Freese officiating. Burial will follow at Venice Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 11-12 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
