Bernadine "Mam-Maw" Mulligan

Bernadine "Mam-Maw" Mulligan, age 103 of Millville, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 1:25 PM. She was born in Dubois County, Indiana on August 6, 1910 the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Piper) Brosmer. Bernadine retired from with A&P in Cincinnati. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Church in Milford and most recently Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Mam-Maw will always be known for her infectious smile, Catholic faith, and love for her family and friends.

She is survived by six grandchildren, Jim Roberts, Tammy (Greg) Bogolo, Kim (Larry) Cloutier, Lisa Roberts, Randy Roberts, and Andy (Judy) Roberts; her daughter-in-law, Arlene Jacobs; eight great-grandchildren, Sarah (Eddie) Bosse, Kristin (Pat) Farrell, Tiffany (Kyle Pawling) Bogolo, Dominic Bogolo, Jaimie Roberts, Danielle (Casey Volz) Bogolo, Jordan Roberts, and James Roberts; and four great great grandchildren, Ava, Allison, Nicholas, and Brody. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, James Henry Roberts; her two husbands, James Harrison Roberts and John M. Mulligan; and three siblings, Marie Jansen, Regina King, and Clete Brosmer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave, on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Father Jeff Silver officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tammy Bogolo for caring for her unconditionally and Lori Weiss RN, Dr. William Krall, and the staff at the Fort Hamilton Wound Care Center for all their care and support.
