Bernice Howard

Bernice Howard, age 88 of Fairfield, passed away at Gateway Springs Health Campus on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Bernice was born in Irvine, Kentucky on September 22, 1934 to Simp and Kate (Dixon) Fike. In 1953, she married the love of her life, Elmer Howard. Together they had seven children. Roger (MaryAnn) Howard, Elmer (Paula) Howard Jr., Ronald (Becky) Howard, Randall Howard, Dianna (Scott) Edmonds, James Howard and her infant daughter, Nannie Katherine. Bernice loved babysitting and embroidery. She was a member of Morning Star Christian Fellowship Church.

Bernice is survived by eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; her sister, MattieAnne Newman. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Elmer Howard; her parents; and her brother, Jim Fike.

Visitation will be held at Morning Star Christian Fellowship Church, 200 Belle Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Morning Star Christian Fellowship Church with Minister Nicole Snelling officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
