Bertha Isaacs

Bertha Isaacs, age 98 of Hamilton, passed away at Butler County Care Facility on Friday, June 26, 2015. She was born in Jackson County on May 28, 1917 to Millard and Martha (Baker) Harris. On May 24, 1948 she married Shird Isaacs, whom preceded her in death in September 1990. Bertha was employed at Natural Can for 10 years as a Press Operator, retiring in 1952.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Angie Garrett, Eric Phillips, and Rodney Simpson and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Carl Isaacs; husband, Shird Isaacs; four brothers, Jesse Baker, Taylor, Andrew, and Willie Harris; and her parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 10-11 AM at the funeral home.
