Bessie Caudill

Bessie Caudill, age 79 of Hamilton passed away at Huntington Court on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 9:00 AM. She was born in Brookville, Indiana on September 26, 1928 the daughter of Caner and Laura (Tillery) Flannery. In 1945 in Covington, Kentucky she married Scott A. Caudill, and he preceded her in death in 1989.

She is survived by a daughter, Laura Frances; a grandson, Harold Scott (Taffy) Miller of Las Cruces, New Mexico; three great-grandchildren, Andrew, Taffitha, and Thomas; a brother, Rev. Jacob (Roxie) Flannery of Hamilton; and a sister, Anna Brown of Greensburg, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Eldon Ward, Virgil Flannery, William Flannery, and Bennie Flannery; and three sisters, Rose Mary Smith, Virgie Moore and Stella Ward.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Doug Wolf of Bethany Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
