Betty Ruth Brinkman

Betty Ruth Brinkman, age 83 of Millville passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. She was born in Hamilton on May 16, 1928 the daughter of William and Grace (Hendricks) Davis. Betty was a 1946 graduate of Hamilton High School and was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. On June 21, 1947 in St. Anne Catholic Church she was married to Eugene J. Brinkman.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene J. Brinkman of Millville; six children, Steve (Kathie) Brinkman of Oxford, Kathy (Randy) Horne of Fairfield, Mary Brinkman of Hamilton, John (Connie) Brinkman of Millville, Maureen Taylor of Millville, and Joe Brinkman of Gustine, California. She also leaves ten grandchildren, Gena Deaton, Joe (Andrienne) Deaton, Laura (Joe) Warren, Megan (Brian) Nichting, Ellen (Nick) Pitstick, Aaron (Stefanie) Horne, Caitlin Brinkman, John Brinkman, Kendra Khalilieh, and Becky Heuer; and eleven great-grandchildren, who were her life’s passion. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William "Buddy" Davis.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Queen of Peace Catholic Church on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Jeff Bacon, Celebrant. Visitation will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to St. Raphael’s, 610 High Street, Hamilton, OH 45011. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Harry Davin for his care and concern.
