Betty J. Brown

Betty J. Brown, age 70 of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away in St. Lucie Medical Center on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 3:58 AM. She was born on June 21, 1937 and was a member of the Grace Immanuel Church of Port St. Lucie. On January 31, 1959 in Hamilton she was married to Mike Brown.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Brown of Port St. Lucie, Florida; three sons, Mick (Kathi) Brown of Ross, Tim (LeAnna) Brown of Ross, and Steve (AnaLisa) Brown of Joshua Tree, California; two brothers, John Warren of Hamilton and Terry Warren of Corbin, Kentucky; one sister, Ann Warren of Lexington, Kentucky; and six grandchildren, Jenna, Michael, Tanner, Carlie, Calliope, and Caressalie. She was preceded in death by her parents and other family members.

Funeral services will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, May 12, 2008 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Kenn Barton, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Shrine Children’s Hospital or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
