Betty Cheatham

Age 80, of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder on Thursday, December 6, 2012. She was born in Hamilton on December 26, 1931 the daughter of Teddy and Wrella (Sunderman) Huff. Betty was employed as a payroll clerk at Champion Paper for 15 years, retiring in 1991. On February 16, 1957, she married Donald Cheatham.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Cheatham; daughters, Linda (Jim) Huff and Diane (Doug) Moore; siblings, Ted (Helen) Huff and Barbara (Bill) Holmes; grandchildren, Dan, Jenna, Eric, Ryan and Alyssa; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be 5-8pm, Thursday, December 13, 2012, at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am, Friday, December 14, 2012, at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church, 382 Liberty Avenue with Fr. Ronald Haft, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Betty’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Niehaus, the staffs of Mercy Franciscan at Schroder and Hospice of Cincinnati.
