Betty L. Estes

Betty L. Estes, age 84 of Fairfield passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 6:00 AM. She was born in Hamilton on October 25, 1929 the daughter of Eugene and Clemie (Tatum) Pickering. Betty was as charter member of the Hamilton Church God and was employed as the church secretary for numerous years prior to her retirement. On May 30, 1957 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana she married Cecil Estes.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil Estes of Fairfield as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Eugene "Bud" Pickering, Jr.; and a sister, JoAnn Pottenger.

Memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
