Betty Harmon

Betty F. Harmon, age 80 of Hamilton, passed away at home on Monday, June 3, 2019. Betty was born in West Union, Ohio on November 3, 1938 to James E. and Clara M. (Brewer) Cadwallader. She worked at Reds Hamburgers in New Miami for 40 years and was a member of the VFW Post 7670. Betty enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. On July 6, 1957 she married Loran Dale Harmon in West Union, OH and together they had two children.

Betty is survived by two sons, Jim (Lynn) Harmon and Bob (Corinne) Harmon; six grandchildren, J.D. (Cheyenne), Tyler, Abby, Jeff, John, and Christin; one great grandson, James "Jameson" Dale Harmon III; her siblings, JoAnn, Mary Lou, Benny and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Loran Dale Harmon, three brothers and three sisters; and her parents. Betty’s family would like to give a special thank you to Queen City Hospice for their loving care and support.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Doug Saunders officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
