Betty (Treadway) Howard-Barrett, age 92 of Hamilton, passed away at her residence on Thursday, October 17, 2013. She was born in Manchester, KY on January 5, 1921 to Peter and Liza (Hubbard) Treadway. Betty worked as a cafeteria worker at Fort Hamilton Hospital and then later worked as a greeter at the Hamilton Wal-Mart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.T. Howard; 7 siblings; and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Larry) Lee; granddaughter, Lesley Lee; great grandson, Clayton T. Lee; and her husband, Estel Barrett.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
