Betty R. Lewis

Betty R Lewis, age 82 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 1:28 PM. Betty was born in Keavy, Kentucky on September 2, 1934 to Furman Miller and Effie (Parker) Miller. On December 7, 1956 in Somerset, Kentucky she married Charles Anderson Lewis, Sr. and he preceded her in death in 2011.

She is survived by two children, Debbie (Bob) Peterson of New Richmond, Wisconsin and Charles Lewis Jr of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Lisa Brewer, Ronnie Ericksen, and Ruth Anne Kobs; and eight siblings, Sylvania Romines, Velear Messer, Ruby Lanham, Doyal Miller, Paul Miller, Roger Miller, Judy Rooper, and Bobby Miller; nine great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Grace, Ashton; Lee, Sam, Max, Will, Rylan, and Caleb. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings, Louie Miller, Margie Parman, Lowell Miller, Dixie Reynolds, and Dean Miller.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Paul Marcum of Fellowship Christian Center officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
