Betty Sue Newton

Betty Sue Newton, age 68 of Hamilton, passed away at Jewish Hospital on Sunday, April 6, 2025. Betty was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 21, 1957, to Lawrence Hammock and Wilma Irene (Lawson) Price. On February 20, 1999, in Hamilton, she married David Newton. Betty loved her Pastor and her church family and enjoyed doing the Lord’s work. She also loved her pets, Gracie and Smokey.

Betty is survived by her husband, David J. Newton; her children, Michael (Desiree) Shelley, Sherry (Doug) Paxton; her grandchildren, Finnian, Declan, Katlynn, and Shawn; her siblings, Buddy (Connie) Hammock, Tip Hammock, Linda Hammock, and Rick (Carolyn) Hammock; her best friend, Sherry Hammock; and many other nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Lawerence Hammock and Wilma Irene Price, and her siblings, Rose Bailey, William Hammock, and Billie West.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Miracle Revival Center. Funeral service will be held at Miracle Revival Center, 185 Morris Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM with Rev. Terry Unthank officiating. Burial will be held at Butler County Memorial Park at a later date.
