Betty M. Pridemore

Betty M. Pridemore, age 76 of Hamilton, formerly of West Chester, passed away at Mercy Hospital Fairfield on Tuesday, March 29, 2011. She was born in Dalton, Georgia on August 1, 1934 the daughter of Carl Clyde and Emma (Craig) Hartness. Betty was a homemaker and member of New Beginning Tabernacle. On August 15, 1953 in Cincinnati, she married Leslie E. Pridemore, and he preceded her in death in 1993.

She is survived by three sons, Donald (Teresa) Pridemore, Paul (Jennifer) Pridemore, and Sam Pridemore; a daughter, Jenny Pridemore; a brother, Joe (Sarah) Hartness; a sister, Frances (Rick) Schultz; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Margaret Elizabeth Pridemore; four brothers, Carl T., David, Billy, and Paul Hartness; a sister, Sue Pennington; and a grandson, Don Ok Pridemore.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Mike Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and staff of Mercy Hospital Fairfield.
