Betty Jane Stewart

Betty Jane Stewart, age 60, formerly of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Cincinnati East on Wednesday, November 4, 2009. She was born in Hamilton on July 9, 1949 the daughter of Jack and Marjorie (Godfrey) Hess. Betty was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who worked in the medical field for many years. On March 20, 1971 in Oxford, she married Gary Stewart.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Stewart; two sons, Eric (Cheryl) Stewart and Nathan (Heather) Stewart; three grandchildren, Kaden, Kylie, and Gracie; a brother, Jack; four sisters, Mary Lou, Kathy, Lynn, and Sue Ann; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. Cremation was held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Cincinnati. Betty’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staffs of Hospice of Cincinnati East, Middletown Atrium Hospital-Compton Center, and Single Point Oncology for their care and concern.
