Betty R. Williams

Betty R. Williams, age 76 of Hamilton, passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Monday, October 15, 2007. She was born in Pendleton County, Kentucky on June 8, 1931 the daughter of Frank and Freda (Humphery) Brown. Betty was a homemaker and member of the Isaac Walton League who enjoyed knitting and canning. On December 24, 1950 in Boyd, Kentucky she married James W. Williams.

She is survived by her husband, Jay Williams; a son, James (Nancy) Williams; and a grandson, Christopher Williams, all of Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, October 19, 2007 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Betty’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Thomas Sargero and the 5th Floor staff of Ft. Hamilton Hospital for their care and concern.
