Betty Jean Gross

Betty Jean Gross, 81 of Scottsdale, Arizona passed away on April 10,2024 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Betty was born on January 21, 1943 to Marvin and Jessie Mae (McFarland) Bachelor in Highland Park, Illinois. Betty Jean Bachelor married John Louis Gross on September 25, 1971 in Campbell County, Kentucky. Betty loved playing tennis and reading as well as playing cards.

Betty is survived by her two sons, Stephen and Michael; her two grandchildren, Grady and Emma; her daughters-in-law, Elizabeth Gross and Tresa Trede-Gross. She is also survived by her brother, Charles Stewart; her sister-in-law, Lois Stewart as well as brother-in-law, Pete Gross.  Betty was preceded in death by her husband John Gross; her brother, Michael Bachelor as well as her first husband, Dick Mutchler and son, Johnny Mutchler.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the time of her Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio 45013 with Deacon Jeff Merrell officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
