Betty Lou Hurst

Betty Lou Hurst, age 85 of Fairfield, passed away at Mercy Hospital Fairfield on Thursday, September 9, 2021. Betty was born in Jellico, Tennessee on December 22, 1935 to Charlie and Nola Mae Smith. On August 17, 1952, she married the love of her life, Ulysus Hurst. Betty was a very devoted wife, mom and mamaw.

Betty is survived by her husband of 69 years, Ulysus Hurst; her daughter, Anna Lou (Dexter) Jackson; her sons, Ron (Patti) Hurst and Mike (Missy) Hurst; her grandchildren, Kevin Jackson (deceased), Lisa (Whitney) Hurst and Brittany Hurst; her great-grandchildren, Karson Jackson, Maddy (Andrew) Roberson, Kameron Jackson and Lehte Hurst; and many other family members and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson; and her siblings.

Visitation will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 12:00 PM with Pastor Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
