Beulah H. Carpenter, age 87 of Cincinnati passed away at Cedar Village on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at 8:55 AM. She was born in Berea, Kentucky on September 4, 1923 the daughter of James R. and Lula (Wardlow) Ponder. Beulah was the owner/operator of Beulah’s Saloon in Carthage.
She is survived by a brother, Robert Ponder of Seven Mile; four nieces and nephews; and six great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Tilden, Virgil, and Henry Ponder; and a sister, Stella Andrews.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Paul Marcum, Pastor of Fellowship Christian Center officiating. Burial will follow in Collinsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
