Beulah M. Garrison

Beulah M. Garrison, age 84 of Hamilton passed away on Monday, June 30, 2008 at 9:15 AM. She was born on May 6, 1924 the daughter of Sam and Alice (Cox) Green. Beulah was a member of Eastern Star #939 in Booneville, Kentucky. On July 20, 1940 in Vicco, Kentucky she married August Burdette Garrison.

She is survived by her husband, August B. Garrison of Hamilton; a son, Jimmy Garrison of Hamilton; two daughters, Pamela (Tony) Johnson of Hamilton and Donna Garrison of Columbus; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Jerrold Garrison.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Elby Harrison, Pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vitas Hospice or to any organization of the donor’s choice. Beulah’s family extends a special thank you to the Vitas Hospice staff, including April, Katie, Nadine, Kathy, Connie and Evelyn; to Catherine Smith, for making Mom’s days joyful; and to her caregiver and friend, Shelly Castillo.
