Bev Babb, of Hamilton, OH passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones on the morning of December 20, 2018. He was born in Irvine, Kentucky on September 8, 1935 to Benjamin Franklin Babb and Bertha Willie (Lovins) Babb. He is preceded in death by his mother and father; three sisters, Viola Babb, Imogene Babb, and Susie Dozier; four brothers, Leo, Delmar, Charles, and Arnold Babb; his in-laws, Rev. Davis Henry King and Martha King; his granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Babb; his great grandson, Cainen Allen Gadd.

Bev was a loving and dedicated husband to Joyce Faye (King) Babb for 63 years. The precious father of Gwendolyn (Gary) McBee, Brenda (Alex) Latanza, Davis (Sherry) Babb, Jeffrey (Sherry) Babb, and Darlene (Tommy) Oakes. He was a loving grandfather to 40 grandchildren, great grandchildren and their spouses.
He brought his new bride to Hamilton, OH in 1955. He began working at Whirlpool of Hamilton until he was hired at Ford Motor Company in October 1958. He was a UAW District Committeeman and dedicated to the Union and fighting for the rights of its members. He retired after 45 years of service in 2003. Bev was a Master Mason and member of the Colerain Lodge. He and Joyce were members of North Fairfield Baptist Church for the last 33 years. Bev raised his family to have faith in the Lord and unconditional love.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 12:00 PM at North Fairfield Baptist Church 6853 Gilmore Rd. Fairfield, OH 45011 with Pastor Mark Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday December 22, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the church. An honor procession will leave Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, Hamilton, OH on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at 1:15 PM for a graveside service at Butler County Memorial Park at 2:00 PM.
