Beverly H. Marcum Jr. "JR"

Beverly H. Marcum Jr., “JR”, age 98 of Hamilton, passed away at Westover Retirement Community on Friday, November 14, 2025. JR was born in London, Kentucky on August 7, 1927 to Beverly H. Marcum Sr. and Anna (nee Elam) Marcum. JR worked for Aeronca Aircraft and then retired from Jacone Glass Shop. He enjoyed going to the casino and was an avid Reds fan.

JR is survived by his children, Jack Marcum Sr. and Brenda Curtis; his grandchildren, Jack (Yvonne) Marcum Jr., Jeremy (Jamie) Marcum, Shanna (Scriven) King and Angela (Dave) Naymick; his great-grandchildren, Alex, Savannah, Logan, Owen, Kayla and Brianna; his great great-granddaughter, Sadie Mae; and many other family members and friends. Beverly was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 56 years, Carol Marcum; and his siblings.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.
