Billy F. Gadd Sr.

Billy F. Gadd Sr., age 60 of Hamilton passed away at University of Cincinnati Hospital on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 5:05 PM. He was born in Berea, Kentucky on November 29, 1947 the son of Edward and Martha Mae (Miller) Gadd. Billy was a veteran of the United States Army from 1968-1970. He was employed as an industrial maintenance mechanic for Hamilton Foundry and then for Production Tool Rental. On November 18, 1967 in Hamilton he married Wilma Watson.

He is survived by his wife Wilma Gadd of Hamilton; one son, Billy F. Gadd Jr. of Columbus; one daughter, Angie (Jimmy) Moore of Morrow; two brothers, Jerry (Vicki) Gadd of Brookville, Indiana and Hubert Gadd of Hamilton; one sister, Barbara (Dave) Smith of Hamilton; six grandchildren, Andrew Hetrick, Justin McKee, Joshua Gadd, Kristian Griffin, Jordan Moore, and Chelsea Johnson; sister-in-law, Betty Gadd of Hamilton; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bobby and Russell Gadd; sister, Mondella Spurlock; and brother-in-law, Robert Spurlock.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Johnny Wade Sloan of Hamilton Christian Center officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
