Billy Carl Reeves

Billy Carl Reeves, age 60 of Somerville passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, September 5, 2008 at 7:45 AM. He was born in Corbin, Kentucky on April 4, 1948 the son of Herman and Zinnie (Mills) Reeves. Billy was formerly employed as a drywall finisher for Saurber Construction. On November 20, 1973 in Hamilton, he married Debbie Pike. Billy was a loving husband, dad, and grandpa.

He is survived by his wife Debbie Reeves of Somerville; two sons, Kevin Reeves and Russell Reeves, both of Somerville; a daughter, Rose Marie Adkins of New Miami; two special and loving grandchildren, Jordan and Brooklynn; two brothers, Virgil "VT" (Brenda) Reeves of New Miami and Bob (Teresa) Reeves of Overpeck; four sisters, Hazel Lynch of Florida, Maggie Reeves of Kentucky, and Gracie Marie Watson and Darlene Reeves, both of Florida; a close cousin, Raymond Hatfield; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Russell Reeves.

Funeral service will be held at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 4384 Riverside Drive, on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Mike Carmody officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
