Birdella Peters

Birdella Peters, age 74 of Fairfield, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 22, 2017. She was born in Hamilton on March 12, 1943 to Robert and Lillian (Bingham) Tackett. On November 12, 1976 she married Dale Peters. Birdella was a graduate of Ross High School, Olivete Nazarene University, and Miami University. She taught at Elda Elementary in the Ross School District for thirty six years. Birdella was a member of Calvary Christian Center and ministered to the women in the Butler County Jail for several years.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Peters of Fairfield; one daughter by custody, Makayla Miller; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held at Calvary Christian Center, 2355 Jacksonburg Road, on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 1:00 PM with Revs. Jim and Diane Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the church.
