Bradley Young

Bradley Young, age 66 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. Known to most as Brad, he was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 29, 1959. He graduated from Garfield High School, class of 1977 and joined the U.S. Marine Corps shortly after. During his time in the service he was stationed at Twentynine Palms in California and Okinawa, Japan. He returned home to Hamilton and worked for Beckett Paper for many years. Later, he went to work for Mane Inc. before retirement. Brad was an all-around handyman and could fix just about anything. He was a sports fanatic – he enjoyed baseball, football, and basketball. Brad also enjoyed fishing, especially when he could cast a line with his sons. Brad was a proud Marine, loving husband, dad, papaw and friend and will be dearly missed.

Bradley is survived by his loving wife of over 36 years, Gena Young; his sons, Derek and Randall Young, his two granddaughters, Sierra and Amber; his mother-in-law, Sally Barger and brothers-in-law, Chris Barger and Doug Barger.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Hickory Flat Cemetery in Overpeck, Ohio.
