Brenda N. Cope

Brenda N. (Simpson) Cope, age 60 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 1:35 PM. She was born in Hamilton on January 2, 1951 the daughter of Ralph and Betty (Leveline) Simpson. Brenda attended Princeton Pike Church of God. On April 17, 1969 in Hamilton she married Gary Cope.

Brenda was the type of person who never met a stranger, she knew someone no matter where she went in town. She loved and lived life to the fullest. Brenda is survived by her husband, Gary Cope of Hamilton; four children, Amy Cope, Becci Reeves, Catherine Cope, and Kevin Cope, all of Hamilton; a granddaughter, Pharron Day; a sister-in-law, Debbie Moore of Hamilton; her devoted dog, Harley; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Larry Davis of Hamilton Assembly of God officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
