Brenda Joyce (Johnson) Fee, age 64 of Hamilton passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 10:55 AM after a period of illness. Originally from Corbin, Kentucky, she was born on October 29, 1946 to Samuel and Connie (Evans) Johnson and moved to Hamilton in her early childhood. Brenda graduated from Fairfield High School, and was employed as a young woman with the Monsanto Corporation. Her life’s work was the loving family she created with her dear husband of 44 years, Merle Fee, and the home she filled with happiness and affection for her sons. For most of her life, she was an active member of Grace Baptist Church, now the New Testament Baptist Church. Her faith in Christ and trust in an eternal life with Him was a source of joy and hope for her, as it is a source of comfort to her family and the many, many friends who will grieve her loss.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her elder sister, Linda. Brenda leaves behind her husband Merle Fee of Hamilton; son Samuel Fee and his wife Tara and daughters Allison Clare and Gillian of Washington, Pennsylvania; son Daniel Fee and his wife Gina, daughter MaKahla and son Daniel, also of Hamilton; and brother Rick Johnson, his wife Sandy, and their children.
