Burl Wayne Mullins, age 57 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Hospital Fairfield on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 11:58 PM. He was born in Hamilton on December 4, 1953 the son of Elwood and Lena (Carroll) Mullins. Burl was employed as a truck driver for various trucking companies.
He is survived by his father, Elwood Mullins of Hamilton; a son, Brandon Butz of Hamilton; and four grandchildren, Johnathan Butz, Kyle Butz, Kendi Butz, and Braylee Butz. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lena Mullins.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
