C. Arthur Gill

C. Arthur Gill, age 86 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Blue Ash on Friday, December 12, 2025. Arthur was born in London, Kentucky on March 5, 1939 to Jerry Burton Gill and Corda Pearl Seeley Gill.

Arthur is survived by his wife of 66 years Mary Ann (Johnson) Gill. They met and were Wed in London, Ky March of 1959. They moved from London, Ky to Hamilton, Oh where they established their home and raised their 3 children, James A. (Kathleen) Gill, Jerry W. (Tara) Gill and Sheila A. (Jack) Unthank.

Arthur retired after 25 years of employment with International Paper.

Arthur was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, neighbor and friend.

He lived a lifetime of laughing, joking and loving his family. He was the best storyteller and loved to make everyone laugh. He was not only a devoted father but the best grandfather. He enjoyed spending all his time with his grandchildren on their farm. There they learned to drive trucks, tractors, cars, back hoes, 4 wheelers, fishing, laughing and gardening. His legacy will live on through the memories and stories that he shared with his children and grandchildren, James Michael Gill, Brooke Gill, Rachelle (Brian) Gill, Jerry W. (Missy) Gill II, Steven (Meghan) Gill, Anastasia. (Kevin) Schoonover, Sampson (Misty) Unthank, Shastina (Mark) Donnelly, Stephanie (Ethan) Hanson, Sean C.A. (Kacey) Unthank, and Seth (Shavat) Unthank; his 30 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Morgan Gill, Lida Lincks, Kathleen Gill, Lucy Brockman, Inez Grubb, Anna Lee Gill and Jerry Lyndon Gill.
