Camilla A. Hensler

April 14, 1936 — March 26, 2018

Age 81 of Hamilton, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018, at her home. She lived in Hamilton her entire life, the daughter of the late Paul and Hortense (Schweitzer) Nichting. She worked as an executive secretary at the Mosler Safe Company in Hamilton until she married her husband, Nicholas R. Hensler, Jr. She had deep faith and was an active member of Queen of Peace Catholic Parish for 45 years, especially enjoying being part of the parish choir.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years; children Theresa Hensler, M.D., Stephanie (Christopher) Bishop, and Stephen Hensler; sister Carolyn Nichting; brother David (Sharon) Nichting; brother-in-law Raymond (Joyce) Schwartz; granddaughters Kathy Bishop, Cristina Bishop, and Emily Bishop; nieces and nephews Lisa Nichting, Denise Sander, Danielle (John) Berlan, Gregory Schwartz, Douglas Schwartz, Susan (DeShon) Hodge, David (Valerie) Lander, Lisa Lander, and Daniel (Dawn) Lander; great-nieces and nephews; and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister Roberta Schwartz and nephew David Nichting.

A one-hour visitation will be Monday, April 2, 2018, at 9 a.m. at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave., Hamilton, OH 45013, immediately followed by her funeral mass and then burial at St. Stephen Cemetery, 1314 Greenwood Ave., Hamilton, OH 45011. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Queen of Peace Catholic Church or Hospice of Cincinnati.
