Carl Raymond Ceo Sr.

Carl Raymond Ceo Sr., age 84 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 5:18 PM. He was born in Hamilton on December 3, 1924 the son of Louis and Mary (Donatello) Ceo. Carl was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II from 1945 to 1948. He was employed as a security guard at Sanders Security Service. Carl was a member of American Legion Post #138, VFW Lodge #1069, DAV Chapter #115, Amvets Post #71, and St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church. On October 7, 2006 in Hamilton he married Donna Eckhardt.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Ceo; a son, Lewis (Tina) Ceo; two daughters, Marlene Brown and Sabrina Ceo, all of Hamilton; a brother, Joseph D. (Mary) Ceo of Santa Clarita California; a nephew, Matt Mercurio; nine grandchildren, Missy Hibbard, Tyler Brown, Maranda Brown, Jacob Marcum, Katie Marcum, Chelsea Marcum, Anthony Ceo, Marina Ceo, and Brianna Stewart; six great-grandchildren, Amber Larkin, Devin Larkin, Courtney Hibbard, Jordan Hibbard, Ciara Brown, and James Brown; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Carl Ceo Jr.; a daughter, Mary Ceo; a brother, Michael Ceo; and a sister, Ann Mercurio.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 1:00 PM with Fr. Michael Pucke of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
