Carl Galloway, age 84, passed away at St. Leonard’s of Centerville on Wednesday, October 30, 2013. He was born in Bell County, KY on January 22, 1929 to Raymond and Tilda (Wares) Galloway.
He is survived by his daughter, Patricia (Charles) DeHart; son, Steven (Robin) Galloway; grandchildren, Dawn Renee (Michael) Henry, Chad Steven (Kim) DeHart, Kimberly (Sean) Blackman, and Stephanie (Patrick) Glitsch; 7 great-grandsons; 2 great-granddaughters; and sisters, Alma Sandefur, Ruby Hensley, and Essie Guy. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Frances Hulsey; and a brother, Roy Galloway.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Rick Rhodus of West Side Baptist officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a Hospice facility of your choice.
