Carl Lamar Mcnamara

Carl Lamar McNamara,  Sr, age 72 of Hamilton (Seven Mile), OH, passed away Peacefully on February 7, 2025 at 7:31 am in his home.  He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 21, 1952  the son of Harry Sr. & Sylvia (Shoemaker) McNamara.  Carl was employed at Dee Sign Company in West Chester/Norwood, OH for 25 years and a Lakota School Bus Driver for 17 years.  Carl retired in June 2016 and has fished everyday rain or shine since then from mid-April (Weather permit) thru the end of October (weather permit) until October 2023.  Carl has missed his favorite sport for over a year.

Carl is survived by his wife of 28 years Melissa Newcomb-McNamara, his 2 four legged sons Max Million and Carl Lamar, Jr..  He is also survived by following brothers, sister, spouses, nieces and nephews:  (Tina) McNamara and Shelby, Dylan and Aaron, Harry Jr. (Diana) McNamara, (Ellen) McNamara & Kelly (Stockard), Patty (Larry) Stevens and Chris Royce, (Kari) McNamara and Sylvia (SAM), Kiki, Liam, Kenzie and Killian, Tim (Linda) McNamara and Katie (John) Henderson,  Dennis and Tim Jr. Tom (Terry) McNamara and Jenny Thompson and Dan (Sarah), Brittany & Dalton Stokes.  He is also survived by brother-In-laws, spouses, nieces and nephews: Mike & Kay Newcomb, Shelby and Michael Jr. and Bentley Newcomb, James Newcomb, Justice, Jarod and Jaime, plus Numerous Friends that are family too, but to many to list! Carl was proceeded in death by his Parents, brother David Sr. (Connie) and nephew David Jr., brother Michael, brother Kevin, niece Jackie, sister-In-law Belinda Newcomb and niece Destanie Jaymz Newcomb.

There will be NO Visitation and in lieu of flowers, etc…would you be willing to donate anything, anything, even a $1 will make a difference!  I am asking you to PLEASE, CALL the funeral home and make donation to the Carl McNamara Cremation Fund. NO Fee’s, Can Use Credit/Debit Cards, no credit card info will be on file anywhere and ALL funds donated will go toward cremation!  Want to know balance, just ask!!
