Carl E. Tincher, age 84 of Middletown, passed away at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties on Friday, September 18, 2015. He was born in Hamilton on August 22, 1931 to Charles and Martha (Bennett) Tincher. Carl served in the United States Marine Corp. Carl owned and operated BP and Sunoco gas stations for many years. Carl also drove a school bus for Lakota Schools, drove a truck for Wilsman Trucking and worked as a greens keeper for the Elks Country Club. He was a member of Eagles #407.
He is survived by his children, Douglas Tincher (Ruth) and Melissa Lee (Edward); sister Christine Evans (Don) and brother Roy Tincher (Donna); and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Estel and Raymond and sisters Vena and Myrtle.
Funeral Service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 12 Noon with Brother Todd Wallen officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21, 2015 from 11-12 Noon at the funeral home.
