Carol L. Bowling

Carol L. Bowling, age 78 of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024. Carol was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 11, 1946 to Elmer Potts and Allie (Johnson) Potts. She married Stanley Bowling in September of 1980 at Church of God in Oxford, Ohio. Carol and Stanley met at a bowling alley, and little did she know, she would become a Bowling a few years later. Carol worked for many years for Steinbergs, Woolco, and Walmart. She was devoted to her husband and family. Carol was close with her nieces and nephews and cherished the times she spent with them. She made many close friends during her stay at Bradford Place. Carol enjoyed crocheting, taking trips to Gatlinburg, and family gatherings.

Carol is survived by her husband of 43 years, Stanley Bowling; sisters, Clara (Leroy) Thomas and Patsy (Tom) Frederick; brother, Gene (Peggy) Potts; and many nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents. Elmer and Allie Potts, and her mother-in-law, Audrey Bowling.

The family will be holding private funeral services at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
