Carol Faye Earls

Carol Faye Earls, age 71 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Monday, June 2, 2008. She was born in Hamilton on October 6, 1936 the daughter of Cell and Mattie (Bicknell) Miller. She was raised by Dennie (Smith) and Cell Miller. Faye was a former employee of Hamilton Tool and K-Mart, and was currently employed at the YWCA. She was an avid horseshoe player and bowler. On October 13, 1962 in Hamilton, she married Milford Earls, who preceded her in death in 2002.

She is survived by a son, Mark Waldon; four daughters, Denise (Rick) Adams, Vicki (Pete) Wyant, Jennifer Cook, and Kristi (Brian) Smallwood, all of Hamilton; a brother, Cecil (Estelle) Miller of Hamilton; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Charlotte Burgfield and Gertrude Bates; and a granddaughter, Victoria.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Allen C. Minor of Faith United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Hospice of Hamilton for their care and concern.
