Carol Rose Giani

Carol Rose (Warner) Giani, age 81 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Hospital Fairfield on Sunday, December 9, 2012. She was born in Hamilton on August 26, 1931 the daughter of Wallace and Elva Warner. Carol was employed as a waitress at Nichting’s Supper Club for eight years. On October 15, 1951 in Liberty, Indiana she married Marion "Curly" Giani, and he preceded her in death in 1975.

She is survived by two children, Steven Lee (Linda) Giani of Wasilla, Alaska and Stephanie Rae (Jack) Baker of Hamilton; two sisters, Helen Morgan of Hamilton an Joanie Pennington of Ross; six grandchildren, Adrian "Kris" Giani, Brian David Giani, Matthew Giani, Sherri Lynn and Richard Martin; and nine great-grandchildren. As well as a dear friend Lois. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Jane Pennington and Phyllis Warner; and three grandchildren, Michael Martin, Carol Martin, and Katie Lynn Giani.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Somerville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
