Carol A. Graf, age 87 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. She was born in Hamilton on December 25, 1926 to William P. and Eleanora (Dornberger) Curtis. Carol was a homemaker, and worked many different jobs. She was a member of the Elks Lodge #93, and the #968 Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, and a former member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church for many years. Carol enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She was an avid bowler, and enjoyed playing cards. Carol was a 1944 graduate of Notre Dame High School. On April 14, 1948 she married Harold B. Graf at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church in Hamilton, and they were married for 33 years before his passing in 1982.
She leaves her 3 sons, Daniel (Donna) Graf, Michael (Pat) Graf, and John (Pam) Graf; 2 daughters, Carolyn (Ron) Blakely, and Melanie (Keith) Allinder; daughter-in-law, Mary Graf; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a devoted cousin, Diane Serger; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Graf; son, Paul Graf; a brother, William Curtis Jr.; and 9 sisters, Elda Toerner, Thelma Hehl, Eileen Williams, Rosemary Emenaker, Virginia Charkey, Paula Wolfram, Joan Burg, Mary Noel Stapf, and Donna Rich.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave, on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Jim Wedig, celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avnue. Memorial contributions can be made to Badin High School or to Hospice of Hamilton in her honor.
