Carol Sanders

Carol Sanders of Oxford, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 15th, 2023 at the age of 67. Carol was born on October 25, 1956 in Hamilton, Ohio, daughter to Donald and Frances Shoemaker. Carol is survived by her loving husband, Jack (JD) Sanders; daughter, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Amend; son, Wendell (Kelly) Knox; son, Rob Sanders; sister, Donna (Shaun) Cutrell; five grandchildren: Merissa, Nathan, David, Emily and Aric. Carol was preceded in death by both of her parents and a brother. Carol worked for many years at Miami University, Oxford and retired in 2006. She loved gardening with her husband Jack, reading, journaling, and cooking family meals for her family and friends. Carol enjoyed music, bird watching, being outdoors and spending time with all of her wonderful friends and family! Carol’s unique spirit and zest for life will be celebrated at a gathering for her family and all of her friends, at a later date and will be announced.
