Carol J. Singleton

Carol J. Singleton, age 86 of Cincinnati, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. She was born in New Miami, Ohio on June 6, 1935 the daughter of Edward and Grace (Cox) Eubanks.  On August 5, 1955 in Richmond, Indiana, she married Jesse Singleton and he preceded her in death in 1980. Carol was employed by Butler County Water and Sewer, Village of New Miami, the Village of Seven Mile, and Butler County Records Division. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Chuck Cain Post #7670 Women’s Auxiliary, where she served as their president for numerous years.

Carol is survived by two children, Doug Singleton and Diane Sue (Richard) Hinkel;  six grandchildren, Scott Singleton, Thomas (Hannah Odam) Singleton-Wells, Benjamin Singleton, Sydney (Connor Smith) Singleton, Tricia (Jay) Boyle, and Jessica (Jerry) Turner; three sisters, Aileen Sue (Virgil) Gilbert, Linda (Bill) Barker, and Valorie (Ray) Whitaker; and numerous other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jesse Singleton Jr.; two sisters, Gloria (John) Hubbard and Patricia (Don) Stout; daughter-in-law, Susan Singleton; and two nephews, Mike Gilbert and Danny Hubbard.

A memorial service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 7:00 PM. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.  Private interment at Hickory Flat Cemetery will be held at a later date.
