Carol L. Wise

Carol L. Wise, age 82 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017. Carol was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 16, 1934 to Howard and Melitta Huentelman. She graduated from Notre Dame High School Class of 1952 and then went on to business school after graduation. On October 14, 1961, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, she married Ted Wise. Carol was a loving, dedicated wife who devoted her life to raising her four children on their family farm, as well as, being a caregiver to many family members and friends. Growing up she had a passion for riding and showing horses, and later valued family gatherings at her home.

Carol is survived by her children, Daniel Wise, Timothy (Angelique) Wise, Joseph (Lori) Wise, and Lee (Rob) Wise-Lewis; her grandchildren, Nat, Teddy, Kit, Megan, Matthew, and Michael; her siblings, Lois Bober, Jim (Marilyn) Huentelman, and Rae (Ken) Rettig; and many loving nieces, nephews and other family members. Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Ted Wise; and her daughter in law, Patty Wise.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Jim Wedig officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Patty Wise Memorial Fund at Fifth Third Bank.
