Carolyn J. Mcconnell

Carolyn J. McConnell, age 61 of Brooksville, Florida passed away at her residence on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at 12:19 PM. She was born in Wise County, Virginia on February 16, 1948 the daughter of Murphy and Nellie (Carberry) Crawford. On November 4, 1967 in Ross, she married Jack McConnell, and he preceded her in death in 2006. Carolyn was a member of the Elvis Fan Club.

She is survived by a son, Nick McConnell of Spring Hill, Florida; a daughter, Carrie Ann (Tim) Stone of Patriot, Indiana; six grandchildren, Josephine, Heather, TJ, Emily, Elizabeth, and Brandon; three great-grandchildren, Caden, Alexus, and Brooklyn; a brother, Jerry (Minnie) Crawford of Hamilton; three sisters, Sue Coleman and Ann Gray, both of Brooksville, Florida, and Mary (Bill) Waples of Cincinnati; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Jeff McConnell.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 1:00 PM with Barbara Cope of Kelly’s House of Love officiating. Burial will follow in Venice Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carolyn J.
