Carolyn E. Nichting

Age 81 of Hamilton, passed away Wednesday, April 11,2018. She lived in Hamilton her entire life, the daughter of the late Paul and Hortense (Schweitzer) Nichting. Carolyn was a 1954 graduate of Notre Dame High School. She worked as a clerk for the Hamilton Foundry, where in 1972, she retired after 19 years of service. Carolyn was a person of deep and abiding faith and enjoyed being a member of the Queen of Peace Catholic Church and their choir.

Carolyn is survived by her brother David (Sharon) Nichting; brothers-in-law, Nicholas R. Hensler, Jr., and Raymond (Joyce) Schwartz; nieces and nephews Lisa Nichting, Denise Sander, Danielle (John) Berlan, Theresa Hensler, M.D., Stephanie (Christopher) Bishop, Stephen Hensler, Gregory Schwartz, Douglas Schwartz, Susan (DeShon) Hodge; great- nieces and nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Roberta Schwartz and Camilla Hensler and nephew, David Nichting, Jr.

A one-hour visitation will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 9 a.m. at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave., Hamilton, OH 45013, immediately followed by her funeral mass and then burial at St. Stephen Cemetery, 1314 Greenwood Ave., Hamilton, OH 45011.
