Cassius C. Goins

Cassius C. Goins, age 85 of Hamilton, passed away at his home, with family members by his side on Thursday evening, November 29, 2018. Cassius was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 16, 1933 to Clayborn Goins and Lula Hibbard Goins. Cassius is a US Air Force veteran. He retired from Champion International Paper on Sept 1, 1996. Cassius enjoyed refurbishing furniture. He was a devoted husband, great father and grandfather.

Cassius is survived by sons, Joe Goins, Roger (Christine) Goins and Tony Goins; siblings, Mary (Burton) Hobson, Leslie (Linda) Goins and Kenny (Kiyoko) Goins; brother-in-law, Don Reed; sister-in-law’s, Gail and Brenda; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Lydia Short and her family. Cassius was preceded in death by his parents, Clayborn and Lula Goins; wife, Darlene Goins; sons, Claude Randle Goins and James Clinton Goins; siblings, Bev, Clarence, Glyndon, Lucy, Jimmy, Tootsie, Wanda, Jarvis and Robert.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 12:00 PM with Dennis Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family would like to thank Hospice of Cincinnati for the care they showed their father.
