Catherine Myers

Catherine Myers, age 61 of Hamilton passed away at her residence on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 8:15 PM. She was born in Manchester, Kentucky on December 10, 1949 the daughter of Arley and Mabel (Delph) Jones. Catherine was employed as a cook at Miami University.

She is survived by five children, John Ivy Jr., Carla Ivy Dean, Troy Lane (Samantha) Ivy, Shawn Ivy, and Shannon Ivy; her father, Arley Jones; a brother, Lonnie Jones of Marion, Indiana; two sisters, Joyce Belt of Manchester, Kentucky and Darlene (Gary) Witt of Hamilton; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mabel Smith.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Gary Witt of World Harvest Church of God officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
