Catherine Rindler, 87, of Fairfield passed away at Golden Years Nursing Center on Friday, October 13, 2017. She was born in Hamilton on June 14, 1930 the daughter of Edward and Catherine (Molder) Wocher. On November 8, 1952 in Hamilton she married William G. Rindler and he preceded her in death in 2011. Catherine was a 1951 Graduate of Mercy School of Nursing; a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Catholic Women, Knights of Columbus #968 Auxiliary, and Girl Scout Leader St. Peters Fillmore Troop. She was employed as a private duty nurse and was the owner and operator of Village Loft Crafts.
She is survived by nine children, Steven (Derene) Rindler of Hamilton, Rose Ann (Mark) Koehler of Hamilton, Theresa (Walt) Rosenzweig of Fairfield, Elizabeth (Ed) Bunting of Key West, Florida, Dana (Tim) Delehanty of Lewisburg, Ohio, Catherine (Matt) Barnett of Columbus, Ohio, Joseph Rindler of Orlando, Florida, William Rindler of Lewisburg, Ohio, and Sarah Broshear of Lewisburg, Ohio; one sister, Rita Simmons of Naples, Florida; twenty-two grandchildren; and twenty-three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; six siblings, Eddie Wocher, Albert Wocher, Dolores Bach, Imelda Buddo, Ruth LoBuono, and Roselyn Reaves; and a grandson, Thomas Holloway.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church, 3028 Pleasant Avenue, on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Father Larry Tharp, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
